Peterhof Gardens River Cruise Itinerary
After meeting at Saint Petersburg's Palace Square, you'll head down to the Hydrofoil Port, where you'll embark and start your trip to Peterhof.
As you sail down the Neva River, one of the city's main waterways and the fourth largest river in Europe, enjoy views of the drawbridges which open every night. What's more - to reach the Russian palace complex, you'll sail on the Gulf of Finland!
During your high-speed boat journey, lasting around 30 minutes, your English speaking guide will reveal the fascinating history behind the Peterhof Palace gardens, also known as the 'Russian Versailles'.
On arrival, you'll marvel at the impressive gardens of what was once the court of the Tsar until 1917. The estate, which is considered to have the largest collection of fountains in the world, stretches across 100 hectares of land. It also boasts a total of 200 bronze statues!
Having finished your tour of this stunning reminder of the Imperial era, you'll return via boat to Saint Petersburg.
